Dear Reader, (or call it the Preface)

Hello, I am Taki, the creator of this wiki. One day, the L+L teacher has asked the class to create a multi-genre project. Of course, everyone was probably thinking that this would suck. However, the thing that made this interesting was the choice of our research topics. Once that was out, the entire class started cheering and thinking on what they would research. While many others had sports or history related things, I went to my roots. Even though it was 3 weeks ago, I was still amazed by the moment I experienced when I saw the JA828J land at Boston in April. So with this inspiration, I used that to help get the work done, thus the topic became the History of Japan Airlines.
Since that day I started researching and working, 4-6 weeks passed by. Because I had entertainment in doing it, I had no idea that 4-6 weeks just flew out the window. Using those facts and information, I wanted to make this wiki the best I could possibly do, which unfortunately didn't happen (as always).
This wiki does contain some Japanese, mostly to retain the atmosphere of home (to bring back the memories that I'll never get back). The last thing I would like to mention is the main character that I use in this wiki, Kouji Tsuruya. He is just in this wiki to help move this project better and to convey the message much better. There is also a repeating element of the symbol of the sun and crane as it represents the strength, warmth, and beauty of our nation. Japan Airlines was originally a government owned company, but later became independent so it still bears that mark today. I hope that his existence in this project allowed better comprehension. I also wish that this project actually showed my efforts in trying to convey the long history not just this company had, but the entire aviation world.
